Venchi Is Looking For A Chocolate And Gelato Assaggiatore (Taster) For New San Jose Boutique Opening Next Month

NEW YORK, NY (November 13, 2023) — This December, Venchi, the Italian chocolate and gelato maker known for bringing the Italian way of life and delicious flavors to every corner of the globe, will open its first West Coast boutique at San Jose’s Westfield Valley Fair Mall. And to gain insight into the tastes of Silicon Valley’s foodies, Venchi is on the hunt for a Chocolate and Gelato Assaggiatore (taster) or Assaggiatrice. Venchi has 350 chocolate recipes and 90 flavors of gelato.
Sean McKean, Retail Operations Manager, says “Venchi is looking for a passionate and discerning taster for our new boutique. We need someone who can indulge in our chocolate and gelato and share their insights on local tastes and preferences.”
The brand will be opening a second California boutique in San Diego in early 2024.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sample and assess a diverse range of Gelato flavors monthly at Venchi’s San Jose boutique.
- Experience a selection of Venchi chocolates, reflecting on their flavor profiles and textures.
- Document your tasting journey with photo and video content to share on social media.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a genuine love for chocolates and gelatos.
- Enjoys documenting experiences through photography and social media.
- Resides near the Westfield Valley Fair Mall.
Compensation is unlimited chocolate and gelato during the tasting visits as well as $100 for each day spent with Venchi. The successful applicant is expected to visit the ChocoGelateria once a month.
