Venchi Opens First Chocogelateria On The West Coast In San Jose

NEW YORK, NY (January 2, 2024) — Venchi, the renowned Italian chocolate and gelato maker, has opened its first Chocogelateria on the west coast at Westfield Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, CA. The store is located on the second floor next to Anthropologie.

One of the biggest attractions at the new location is Venchi’s iconic chocolate waterfall, which first debuted in the US in 2018 at the brand’s flagship boutique in New York City’s Union Square. The San Jose location is only the second of Venchi’s 17 signed US locations to have this amazing feature situated right at the front of the store behind the gelato bar. Another unique item offered for the first time in the US at a Venchi store is Granita, a refreshing semi-frozen Italian delight comprised of ice with fruit puree.

Venchi’s new Chocogelateria is a beautifully decorated indulgent wonderland come to life with a luxurious décor and something new to explore no matter where you turn. From the large displays of chocolate bars and Chocoviar wall, to the tables overflowing with Venchi’s beautiful gift boxes, as well as the mouthwatering gelato bar, Venchi’s arrival to share Italian Allegria (joy and happiness) is great news for Silicon Valley foodies who can’t wait to indulge.

Venchi chocolates — all crafted in Italy — include the iconic Chocoviar, Gianduiotti, Cremini, Pistachio, Hazelnut, and many other products which are all on display in the stunning boutique. Customers can Pick & Mix to create their own chocolate assortment from more than 50 different varieties. Venchi also has a selection of attractive boxed chocolates which are the perfect present for every gift-giving occasion.

For those who may have taken a trip to Italy and first experienced Venchi gelato abroad, the new Chocogelateria offers a creative and unique gourmet gelato tasting experience. Gelato can be enjoyed in a cup or gourmet cone which features a rim of Venchi’s hazelnut and chocolate spread dipped in your choice of grains.
