VENCHI SIGNS LEASE FOR SIXTH BOUTIQUE IN NEW YORK CITY TO BE LOCATED IN NOMAD NEIGHBORHOOD
ChocoGelateria To Debut At 1178 Broadway In Summer 2023
NEW YORK, NY (March 9, 2023) — Venchi is continuing to grow its presence in New York City with the signing of a lease for a sixth boutique at 1178 Broadway in the former Dig Inn location in NoMad, it was announced today by Mark Ellis, Chief Commercial Officer, at Venchi US. The ChocoGelateria is scheduled to open in Summer 2023.
According to Mr. Ellis, "The Venchi brand is proving to be incredibly popular in satisfying the refined tastes of New Yorkers as well as visitors to this incredible city who love our premium-quality chocolate and Gelato. Over the past three years we have been proud to increase our footprint in Manhattan.”
Venchi is on a mission of spreading Allegria (joy and happiness) around the world. The new NoMad ChocoGelateria will feature its signature Gelato, authentic Italian coffees, hot chocolate, crepes made with Venchi’s rich and wonderful Suprema chocolate dispensed from a chocolate fountain, as well as a variety of the brand’s iconic chocolates including Chocoviar, Truffles, Gianduiotti, Cremini, Pistachio, Hazelnut, and other products. All Venchi offerings are natural with no coloring agents, preservatives, or palm oils. Venchi chocolates contain noble fats such as olive oil and cocoa butter; are all gluten-free; and some are vegan friendly as well.
Venchi first arrived in New York City in November 2018 with the opening of its boutique at 861 Broadway in Union Square, which features a chocolate waterfall. Since then, the company has been expanding throughout the city and now features ChocoGelaterias in four other locations (1796 Broadway, 233 Bleecker Street, 198 Columbus Avenue, and 1117 Lexington Avenue which will open this Spring). Venchi also has a boutique at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey and recently opened another outlet at Tysons Corner Center in Virginia.
