Venchi To Open Their Seventh NYC Chocogelateria On Seventh Avenue

Brand Signs Lease With Vornado Realty Trust For New Store On Northeast Corner of 53rd and Seventh Avenue

NEW YORK, NY (January 17, 2024) — Venchi will open a seventh Chocogelateria in Manhattan at 825 Seventh Avenue, the northeast corner of 53rd Street, it was announced today by Mark Ellis, Chief Commercial Officer.

"This will be our largest retail location in New York City, and we are very excited to be working with Vornado Realty Trust to see Venchi's iconic chocolate and gelato ​ storefront come to life at this premier, high-traffic location," notes Mr. Ellis.

The 1,900-square-foot store is expected to open in late April 2024 and will feature a market exclusive selection of Brutto & Buono unwrapped chocolates. The Brutto & Buono is a timeless classic in Piedmont tradition, owing its taste to its texture and simple ingredients featuring cocoa and hazelnuts.

This latest store is part of Venchi's ongoing expansion plan which included 6 openings in 2023: 1117 Lexington, 1178 Broadway in NoMad, Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, New Jersey, The Westchester in White Plains, NY, King of Prussia Mall, King of Prussia, PA, and Westfield Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, CA. In the first half of 2024, there will be a further 3 new stores opening at: Town Center at Boca Raton, FL, Aventura Mall in Aventura, FL and Westfield UTC in San Diego, CA.

All Venchi Chocogelaterias feature a wide variety of Venchi chocolates which are crafted in Italy as well as Gelato and Gelatoshakes, authentic Italian coffees, hot chocolate, and crepes made with Venchi’s rich and wonderful Piedmont Hazelnut and Chocolate spread dispensed from a chocolate fountain.

The chocolates — all crafted in Italy — ​ include the iconic Chocoviar, Gianduiotti, Cremini, Pistachio, Hazelnut, and many other products which are all on display in the stunning stores. Customers can Pick & Mix to create their own chocolate assortment from more than 50 different varieties. Venchi also has a wide variety of attractive boxed chocolates which are the perfect present for every gift-giving occasion.

The Gelato is made fresh every day in store using only the finest genuine and natural ingredients, and crafted following traditional Italian recipes. All Venchi products are natural with no coloring agents, preservatives, or palm oils.
